“Chedonio Marin, a passionate and experienced basketball player, and coach, founded the Martin Basketball Association. Chedonio began his basketball journey in 8th grade and became a key player and captain on his high school team. He was recognized for his talents by being ranked 5th in Florida for points per game and winning the Tampa Bay Hot Shot of the Week award.
Despite his success on the court, Chedonio faced challenges off the court and ultimately decided to focus on training and mentoring young athletes instead of pursuing a professional career. He believes that education is the key to success for young athletes and wants to help them avoid the same mistakes he made as a young athlete.
At the Martin Basketball Association, we believe in developing the whole athlete, not just their basketball skills. Our focus is on providing skill development training and mentoring to young athletes, helping them reach their full potential on and off the court.
